The job
Bad data is a tax on every team. The Data Quality Steward runs continuous hygiene: fuzzy-match duplicates, normalize industries and geo fields, enrich firmographics within license rules, and propose merges with a clear before/after. It produces a trust score by object so leadership knows whether the dashboard is a decision tool or a mood board.
A day in the life
- 01 Scans CRM for duplicate clusters and zombie records
- 02 Proposes merges with field-level conflict resolution
- 03 Enriches missing firmographics within approved sources
- 04 Validates warehouse tests / anomaly alerts
- 05 Publishes data trust scorecards by domain owner
